AKB48-SKE48 in America: How about USA48?

Point No. 1: Sales of AKB48 CDs have gone through the roof, surpassing anything ever produced by a female music group, ever, in the entire history of the world. Point No. 2: SKE48, a sister group to AKB48, is setting records for growth and live-performance ticket sales. Point No. 3: NMB48 is being formed in Osaka, and it appears that Akimoto even plans a "Taiwan48." All that being the case, maybe it's time for USA48. Find out more here at YankeeOtaku.com
